Gem-A have been providing education for over 110 years and Gem-A Instruments have supported Gem-A students and members with essential equipment for over 50 years. I can’t find the product I want online

 

If you know of a product that we sell and cannot see it on our website, you can order this through our London shop either via phone (0207 404 3334) or email (instruments@gem-a.com). Alternatively, if there is something in your wish-list that we currently do not sell, we would love to hear from you on any suggestions to help us expand our product range.

How do I become a member of Gem-A?

 

Anyone can become a member of Gem-A. Applications can be made via our website using our application form. This form can be sent to us via post to: Membership, Gem-A, 21 Ely Place, London, EC1N 6TD. You’ll receive lots of benefits, which you can discover here

 

 

What are your opening hours in store?

12th April 2021: Gem-A Instruments is open to on-site students and pre-booked shop appointments. We will also welcome customers who have pre-ordered online and are collecting their items on their specified day. We look forward to opening our doors to all visitors in the near future.

 

Do you provide certification on gemstones and diamonds?

 

We no longer have a commercial laboratory at Gem-A so, unfortunately, we do not provide a certification service. Many gemmologists in gem testing laboratories are graduates of Gem-A and hold their FGA and DGA. Do you repair instruments?

 

Dependant on the problem, we may be able to repair instruments. You can make repair enquiries through instruments@gem-a.com, where we will do our best to assess, advise, and quote you for any possible repairs.

 

 

Which instruments are provided with my Gem-A course?

 

Gemmological equipment is provided with some Gem-A courses. To find out what is included in your course, take a look at our current Prospectus to see the list for each course.
